The STIX 8s Tournament is a unique experience for U11 and U13 players and teams. 

The primary goal is to teach and implement contact confidence skills for players who will be entering contact hockey in the next few years. Players will receive coaching and guidance in a variety of situations, including skill-stations, small area games, cross-ice games, and full-ice 4 on 4. The goal of this weekend is to get players comfortable with contact as they progress to the next level of their hockey careers. The progression of sessions has been intentionally developed for players to learn and implement these skills effectively. Sessions include: Checking Skills, Contact Confidence Small Area Games, Cross-Ice 3-on-3, and Full Ice 4-on-4. Qualified STIX coaches will be on the ice for every session, including games, to ensure that Contact Confidence skills are being developed and corrections are being made in real time.
