Program Details
Designed so students can pursue their passion in an empowering program that is supported by academic and athletic leadership - all within your regular school timetable! Earn up to 30 High School credits while you pursue your passion for sport. Global serves as one option each semester and* allows students to be fully integrated into the academic model and school culture.
Global Sport Academy collaboratively customizes the program design based on both School Division and School requirements.
*in most cases does not take away from the core course requirements or schedule
PRICING ALERT FOR RE-REGISTRATION
We are introducing a direct-debit option of payment that will save you 3% off the website price for your respective program. Direct-debit payments will be distributed over four (4) payments, to be paid in full by October 2023.
Please contact (Denise; ) if you are interested in the direct debit payment method before January 30, 2023 (and before registering online). We will then set up a time to coordinate your direct-debit info and get your payment dates setup accordingly.

Bisons Morning Academy$800 + GST
- Applicable to all 2009-2014 athletes
- Location: Various arenas in Airdrie
- Time: Every Wednesday morning from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
- Length: Mid-October to Mid-March (20 total ice sessions)
- Details:
- Jersey provided
- Bisons players in attendance to support on-ice coaching
Grade 9 Hockey $5,620 + GST
- Applicable to George McDougall High School Students Only
- Location: George McDougall High School & Plainsmen Arena
- Cadence: Half-time program
- Every Tuesday/Thursday and every other Friday
- Details:
- Integrated into regular timetable, utilizing parts of the lunch hour to not interfere with other classes
Grade 10 - 12 Hockey $7,110 + GST
- Applicable to George McDougall, Bert Church and Croxford High School students
- Location: BGC Club, Ron Ebbesen Arena, Genesis Place and George McDougall High School
- Cadence: Full-time program
- Every morning at BGC Club/Ron Ebbesen Arena (in addition to Global, student-athletes fulfill their English and Social core courses led by an in-person Rocky View Schools teacher through an online platform)
- Student-athletes return to designate school for afternoon classes

U18AAA CFR BisonsPrice built into entire team fees
- Applicable to any athlete who makes the CFR Bisons team
- All details same as above in the Grade 10-12 Hockey program
The U18AAA CFR Bisons of the Airdrie-Cochrane Athletic Association (ACAA) and Global Sport Academy have a well-established relationship. The partnership allows Bisons athletes to benefit from the program offering of Global Sport Academy. This includes high school credits for practicing during the day; and full immersion in the five pillars of the Global Sport Academy program.

Men's and Women's University and Collegiate Athletic programs in Canada and the USA, Varsity Division 1, Division 3 and Club Teams, and access to NCSA.

LIFE AFTER SPORT
A toolbox for life is created as a result of the journey with Global Sport Academy and Village Sports.
Program Details:
- Mandatory Training Apparel Package is included
- All fees are payable to Village Sports Inc.
- Payment plan schedules are provided within the online application package
- Additional school fees (and possible insurancce fees) may apply and are payable to the school
- Full refunds are issued if you are not accepted into the program (less the application fee)
- There are no refunds due to injury or withdrawal during our program
- If athletes are expelled or removed from the program, there will be no refund
- Once accepted, program fees are non-refundable
- On ice jerseys are provided.
- Athletes are required to provide all sport related gear including a water bottle and proper footwear for multi-sport training.
