David believes creating genuine and strong relationships with players and their families build trust and helps empower athletes to push beyond their perceived ceilings. Each session is a chance to create an experience for the athletes.

Using fun and competition, this encourages engagement and helps to fuel the passion to learn and get better. The ultimate goal being to using experiences in sport to connect to life skills young athletes can use beyond the arena, and friendships that will last a life time.

David’s skill development philosophy focuses on game play for the goaltenders he works with. Technical skills are vital for all goalies, but without game transferability it’s tough to be successful.

David was born in Barrie, Ontario and moved to Calgary, Alberta at the age of 10. David played Minor Hockey to the Midget level with the Calgary Northstars before turning to competitive golf. He still competes as a golfer at the amateur level in Alberta.

Coach Addy never played once regular season game as a "skater", he was a goalie his entire hockey life!
